About VCOC
Venture Capital On Campus (VCOC) - Investment Challenge 2023 is the venture capital (VC) themed function designed for undergraduates and postgraduates from all disciplines in Hong Kong. Co-hosted by Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS) and HKSTP Capital, we aim to inspire and nurture future venture capitalists via a training bootcamp and an investment case competition.
The training bootcamp will be hosted by esteemed experts and professionals of the Venture Capital industry, which guides students for the indispensable skills and knowledge to work as a venture capitalist, as well as the fundamental discernment on investment analysis and strategic planning. Through engaging in an investment planning as the executive at HKSTP Ventures, participants are given an opportunity to evaluate businesses’ potential growth, analyse investment hypotheses and eventually codify pitch decks to VC investors.

Rules
Participants should apply in a team of 3-5 persons (with at least one team member as a full-time business undergraduate), and be associated with only 1 team.
Top 18 teams will be shortlisted to present in the Semi-final
Top 6 teams will be shortlisted to present in the Grand Final
It is compulsory for participants to attend ALL events of VCOC organised by HKFBS and HKSTP.
Any late submission of required materials will be assumed by HKFBS as a withdrawal from the competition.
Participants that fail to comply with the above rules may be disqualified from the competition.
